Fit for the future

Citizens Advice Reading (CAR) is currently staffed by 53 volunteers and 20 paid part time roles – all of these people are at the heart of the amazing service CAR provides for our many clients. We want to help as many people as we possibly can, and therefore need to update our existing IT equipment. This will mean that our volunteers and staff have the correct tools to keep delivering information, advice and support for anyone who seeks our help in Reading.

We have set up a fundraising page on the good exchange. Please support us if you can.

“The total amount requested is for the cost of brand new equipment. If anyone is able to donate good quality second hand IT kit, we would really welcome this too.” Tina Stevenson, CEO

Become a Friend

You can also support us by becoming a Friend of Citizens Advice Reading and joining a fun group of people wanting to give something back to their community. The Friends organise events, quizzes, raffles, bake sales, you name it and have a lot of fun along the way! You can get involved as much or as little as you want. If you are on Facebook, add yourself to the group. If not, you can email the Friends at friends@citizensadvicereading.org to find out what’s going on.
